Three-Step Skin Plan
Our Gently Organic three-step skin plan is recommended for all types of skin:
1. CLEANSE. Cleanse skin with a gentle, organic, fragrance-free, alcohol-free cleanser to remove make-up and dirt and reduce oil. Gentle cleansers can help soothe your skin. It is important to use lukewarm - not hot - water, take short showers or baths, and pat skin dry. Be sure not to scrub when washing or drying your skin because that can irritate it and make any skin condition worse.
2. MOISTURIZE. Moisturize with a non-irritating, fragrance-free organic moisturizer. Its best to apply immediately after bathing or showering to trap the moisture. Reapply a moisturizer as often as needed to help prevent further drying or irritation of excema, dermatitis, or rosacea. These skin conditions can actually make your skin drier which means it can easily crack and get infected. Regularly moisturizing your skin is very important.
3. PROTECT. Protect your skin by shielding it from the harmful rays of the sun. Sun exposure is the most common trigger of rosacea and skin cancer. It is important to use a gently organic sun protection that protects you from the sun's UVA rays (those that age the skin) and UVB rays (those that burn the skin and cause skin cancer). Keep in mind that your skin is more sensitive to the sun if you have rosacea, excema, dermatitis, or psoriasis so be sure to apply a gently organic sunscreen daily.
